| Bio: | I've travelled in many countries and would like to visit more; I consider myself multicultural, at least for an American. I speak Spanish, a little French, and will probably study Japanese, slowly, for years; it's complex and fascinating. I've studied many topics, and have a Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, but Japanese history and culture have held my interest since high school. I still love martial arts but my knees are older than I am.
I'm doing research right now into the historical relationships between Shinto, Buddhism, and government. I'm active in Go and anime clubs at two community colleges where I continue to take a variety of classes. |
